Bengluru: A tipper lorry driver died after colliding with another lorry on NICE Road in the early hours of Saturday, within the limits of the Jnanabharathi traffic police station.

The incident occurred near Hill Rock School around 3.30 am. Brijesh Kushwaha, the 24-year-old driver of the tipper lorry (KA 01 AM 9900), was travelling from Mysuru Road to Magadi Road and was speeding when he crashed into the rear of another lorry (KA 35 D 3613) ahead of him. As a result, the front of the tipper was completely crushed, and Brijesh, who sustained severe injuries, died on the way to a nearby hospital.

The Jnanabharathi traffic police have registered a case under Sections 281 and 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
