Drunk driving accounted for the vast majority of DL suspensions, with 745 cases, while 54 suspensions were linked to accidents, 10 to hit-and-run incidents, and six to wheeling.
The suspensions take effect after the BTP sends the violators' details to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) concerned. The BTP released the data based on reports received from the RTO.
