The traffic police will impose the following restrictions on Thursday between 12 noon and 10 pm in view of St Mary’s annual feast and procession.
No entry zones
n There will be no entry for vehicles on Meenakshi Koil Street between Jyothi Cafe Circle and Russel Market and vice versa.
n There will be no entry for vehicles on the Broadway Road, between Broadway Junction and Russell Market and vice versa.
n There will be no entry for vehicles on Dharmaraja Koil Street, between Dharmaraja Koil Street Junction and Old Poor House Road; between Russell Market and Taj Circle.
n There will be no entry for vehicles between BRV Junction, Cubbon Road and Shivajinagar bus stand. No entry norm applies for BMTC buses.
n There will no entry for vehicles between Balekundri Circle and Shivajinagar bus stand. The norms apply for BMTC buses from 2 pm onwards.
Parking spaces
Kamaraj Road parking lot opposite Army School, Main Guard Cross Road opposite Safina Plaza, inside the Cubbon Park, Kings Road, Jasma Bhavan Road, RBANMS Ground (Gangadhar Chetty Road), Muslim Orphanage, Dickenson Road (next to Hasanth College).
Parking banned
Russell Market and the surrounding areas, Meenakshi Koil Street, Central Street, Shivaji Road, Cunningham Road, between Balekundri Circle and Chandrika hotel, Union Street, Infantry Road, Cubbon Road, Hospital Road, Lady Curzon Road, VSN Road, Plain Street, MG Road and Brigade Road.
BMTC bus stop points
n For buses towards Halasur, OM Road, Domlur, KR Puram, Cubbon Road, Marathahalli, Varthur, Whitefield, Neelasandra and Viveknagar, the bus stop will be provided on the northside of the Cubbon Road between CTO Junction and BRV Junction.
n For buses towards Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Srinagar, Shanthinagar, KH Road, Hosur Road, Koramangala and Bannerghatta Junction, the bus stop will be provided on the southside of the Cubbon Road between CTO Junction and BRV Junction.
n For buses towards Majestic, Vijayanagar, KR Market, Malleswaram, Rajajinagar, Mysuru Road, the bus stop will be provided on Kings Road at Queen’s Circle.
n For buses towards JC Nagar, RT Nagar, Yeshwanthpur, Peenya, Mehkri Circle, Hebbal, Yelahanka, Jalahalli and Banasawadi, the bus stop will be provided on Queen’s Road at Balekundry Circle.
