Bengaluru: Owing to several events lined up at Palace Grounds on Thursday evening, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has issued an advisory prohibiting parking on roads around the area.

They estimate nearly 40,000 people will participate in these programmes.

Parking is prohibited on Palace Road, MV Jayaram Road, Jayamahal Road, CV Raman Road, Ballari Road, Ramana Maharshi Road, Nandidurga Road, and Taralabalu Road.

Buses coming from the city can take the BDA upramp at Windsor Manor Junction, cross Gayathri Vihar and enter via Gate 5. People can leave via Amanullah Khan or Circus Gates. Those coming from Hebbal can take a left at the Mehkri Circle service road, and enter and exit via the Circus Gate on Jayamahal Road.

Tempo travellers, cars, and two-wheelers coming from Yeshwantpur can travel via BHEL Circle, the Sadashivanagar police station junction, and Mehkri Circle, and then walk to the location after parking at Gate 1 and exit the same way.
