On account of the Neeraj Chopra Classic (NCC) Javelin Throw event to be held on on Saturday (July 5) at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued an advisory.
Around 10,000 to 15,000 people expected to converge in and around the Sree Kanteerava Stadium for the one-day NCC javelin throw event.
During the competition at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, fans will get a glimpse of India's double Olympic medallist as well as top class athletes.
"In order to facilitate smooth public traffic movement, the following traffic arrangements will be implemented on the roads surrounding the Sree Kanteerava stadium," the Bengaluru Traffic Police said in a statement.
In its, advisory, Bengaluru Traffic Police has advised public to avail Metro and other public transport services more.
The Bengaluru Traffic Police's advisory comes in the wake of recent stampede that happened at Chinnaswamy Stadium during the felicitation of the IPL-winning Royal Challengers Bengaluru team, which resulted in the death of 11 people.
