Bengaluru: Ahead of Karnataka State Cricket Association’s (KSCA) special felicitation programme for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who won the recently-concluded Indian Premier League (IPL), Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued an advisory for vehicle movement on June 4.

The programme will be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium between 5 pm and 6 pm. Entry is allowed only to those who have entry tickets.

“Due to limited parking, public are advised to use the metro and other public transport. Parking of all vehicles is prohibited in and around the areas surrounding Chinnaswamy Stadium,” read a press release they issued on Wednesday afternoon.

The public is advised to avoid the CBD area for their commute until 9 pm. Roads where traffic movement is restricted include Dr B R Ambedkar Road, Cubbon Road, M G Road, Queens Road, and Kasturba Road.

Parking is allowed at the UB City parking lot, St Joseph's Indian High School Ground, BMTC TTMC at Shivajinagar, Old KGID building, and Kings Road inside Cubbon Park.
