The City traffic police have banned movement of vehicles on St Mark’s Road and on a few stretches on Museum Road from 10 pm on Saturday as the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike is commissioning an infrastructure project.  

The ban would be in effect till 6 am on Monday. The police have introduced the following restrictions: n The road users could take a right turn near the post office on Museum Road at Ashirvadam Junction, move on Museum Road and proceed further on Koshy’s Junction or MG Road. 

n Right turn is banned on Lavelle Road for those coming from Coffee Day Junction. Similarly, right turn is now allowed at Rotary Circle for the vehicles coming from Queen’s Circle. 

n Two-way traffic is temporarily permitted towards Queen’s Circle on Lavelle Road. A barricade has been put up on the stretch.

n The movement of vehicles from K C Das Junction towards Empire Hotel on St Mark’s Road is banned.
