The All India Confederation of Goods Vehicle Owners' Associations has postponed the April 7 strike against the hike in third-party insurance premium.
"Along with the insurance issue, we also want to protest the rising fuel prices. So, we have temporarily withdrawn the protest," said B Chennareddy, the president of the confederation. A decision on the strike will be taken at a meeting of goods vehicle owners from northern and southern India, he added.
