The Rotary Club of Bangalore is organising the art show to support new artists. ‘Ephemeral Permanence, Stories of Nature’ is the theme of the artworks and it reflects that nature is ever-changing yet constant, says Dr Mustali Moiz Vagh, International Services Director of Rotary Club of Bangalore.

The proceeds from the sale will go towards funding the education of children studying at Rotary Bangalore Vidyalaya.

“We started this art show in 2005 to support less-known artists and help (these) children. Today, we attract artists from all over the country, both to promote our cause and showcase their work,” adds Dr Vagh. A total of 110 artworks will be on display. Their prices range from Rs 25,000 to Rs 9 lakh.

Inauguration on February 28, 6 pm, at ITC Windsor, Golf Course Road. On until March 1 and 2, 10 am to 6 pm. Entry free. For details, call 98452 02190.
