Bengaluru: The Kengeri police have arrested two men who allegedly robbed an ITI student and his younger brother on 80 Feet Road in Ganakal, Southwest Bengaluru.

Police said that on Sunday night, Sharath K was returning home with his brother when two men rode up on a scooter, threatened them, snatched their mobile phone and wristwatches, and forced them to transfer Rs 3,500 to a friend’s account through UPI.

Acting on a complaint, police tracked the suspects through the digital transaction trail and arrested Prathap, 22, and his associate Madesha, 21.
