Bengaluru: The United States will participate in Aero India 2025 for the 15th time, showcasing cutting-edge defence technology and equipment, including the F-16, F-35, KC-135 Stratotanker, and B-1 bomber.
The United States Air Force Band of the Pacific’s 10-member ensemble, Final Approach, based at Yokota Air Base in Japan, will perform for the public on February 13 and 14, as well as at 5 pm on February 11 at the Christ University Auditorium.
"The United States will showcase a range of advanced aircraft, reinforcing the strong and growing defence and aerospace partnership between the United States and India. Both nations share a commitment to regional security, stability, economic prosperity, and strategic investment ties,” the US Consulate said in a press release.
More than two dozen American exhibitors will engage with their Indian counterparts at Aero India, exploring new business opportunities and displaying advancements in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), fighter aircraft, advanced avionics, and defence electronics.
US Embassy New Delhi Chargé d’Affaires Jorgan Andrews will lead a high-level delegation comprising representatives from the US Departments of State, Defence, and Commerce.
“The United States is excited to once again participate in Aero India and highlight our strong defence ties with India. Our cooperation in defence, trade, and training is integral to our growing strategic partnership,” Andrews said.
The US Consulate noted that under the Trump administration, President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the US-India strategic partnership and advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
