Women are increasingly influenced by fashion where sophistication meets style. The latest collection from ‘Majori’ has, for today’s women, fashion-forward dresses
and ensembles that work as both day and evening wear.
Giving colours to expressions
The brand aims to spruce up fashion for the season through its latest
collection, which is unique and trendy.
Ria Joy Mathews, owner of the brand, says, “‘Majori’ intends to cater to the modern Indian woman who loves her body, is confident with herself and is comfortable expressing herself through clothing.”
The brand aims to cater to the urban, travelled and financially independent woman of today.
“We like to differentiate each of our customer from their peers. Western in cuts and silhouettes and Indian in sizing, our ensembles strongly emphasise on colours and colour mixes, through bold vivid prints and solids,” she says.
The collection is inspired by the festive season.
Ria says, “Our collection places a strong emphasis on quality, craftsmanship and
attention to detail. Consumers today expect great designs and quality at a price that makes sense.”
Ria adds that the ensembles are manufactured in the city, where she can monitor and control every element of the production process.
“For us, each piece we produce is a labour of love,” she adds. Ria created the brand because she felt that regular fashion in the city fell into two categories — cost-effective but mundane and uninspired, or high-end design but highly expensive.
“Consumers today expect great design and quality at a price that makes sense. We through the brand have tried to bring in just this,” she says.Ria has her finger on the pulse of international fashion, interpreting it into trend-setting concepts. “The colours of the season are mainly blues and reds.
The range is a celebration of colours and consists of dresses, blouses, skirts, shirts
and trousers. We have tried to keep the ensembles interesting as this is the season of dressing up. With Christmas and New Year parties in line, we aim to offer a variety of options,’ she adds. The collection is available online on www.majori.in and through Flipkart and Amazon.
