It is a unique educational effort to destigmatise misconceptions, reduce stigma, and increase public awareness about mental illnesses, related services and those who have experienced mental illnesses.

The tour will provide experiential, accurate, and reliable information directly from mental healthcare professionals. It will also provide a historical perspective on the institute's evolution and the field of psychiatry and neurosciences.

The tour was previously conducted in September 2019, but came to a halt due to the pandemic.

Registration fee is Rs 200. To register call +91-7902758129 or email: mheducation.nimhans@gmail.com.
