A 45-year-old woman accidentally fell to death from the ground floor to the basement in Sobha Forest View apartment in Thalghattapura on Kanakapura Road on Thursday.
According to the police, the deceased is Chikkathayamma. She was working as a domestic help and was living with her family in a rented house in Vajrahalli, close to the apartment. She accidentally fell to death on the basement parking lot while cleaning the premises.
The incident came to light when the residents heard a noise. When they checked, they found her lying in a pool of blood.
They informed the Thalghattapura police, who shifted her to a nearby private hospital where she was declared brought dead, said the police. A case has been registered at Thalghattapura police station.
