The FIR filed by the Jnanabharathi police on November 8 states that the victim, a law practitioner, was walking her dog near Upakar Layout, when the suspect approached and asked if he could pet the dog. The suspect then began talking to it.

Flees with phone

During the commotion, her phone slipped from her hand. She screamed, and the suspect fled with her phone.
