World Sanskrit Book Fair in Bangalore
Karnataka Governor H R Bhardwaj will inaugurate the fair on January 7. Noted cricketer Anil Kumble would declare open an exhibition organised as part of the event on January 6, the organisers said in a statement here.
The Working Committee of the World Sanskrit Book Fair met here yesterday to take stock of the preparations and it was presided over by former chief election commissioner N Gopalaswamy, it said.
About 7,000 delegates were expected to take part in the fair, it said.
