Davangere: The ‘Vande Bharat’ train plying between Bengaluru and Dharwad was halted for 45 minutes near Davangere on Wednesday due to a technical glitch.

The train, which was supposed to arrive at Davangere railway station from Bengaluru at 9:15 am, reached at 10:20 am. Passengers faced inconvenience as it was halted for a long time, 7 km away from the railway station.

"The ‘Vande Bharat’ changes tracks before reaching the station. As a result of not getting the green signal to change tracks, the train halted near Tholahunase. The service resumed after the technical glitch was resolved," said railway department sources.
