Bengaluru: State BJP president B Y Vijayendra on Thursday charged that the government is not making sincere efforts to bring reforms to the examinations being conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).
He extended the party’s complete support to the aspirants who are holding a protest at Freedom Park demanding the government hold the examinations again.
Participating in the protest, Vijayendra said the government should stop playing with the lives of thousands of aspirants and take steps to conduct the examinations in an error-free way.
"The examinations are getting postponed for no fault of the candidates. The government must be more sensible about the feelings of the aspirants who are toiling hard to get ready for such examinations," he said.
"What surprises me is that the government is failing again and again to conduct error-free examinations in its mother tongue Kannada,” Vijayendra remarked.
Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council Chalavadi T Narayanswamy, who accompanied Vijayendra, charged that the government is murdering Kannada by not translating questions into Kannada.
