Chief Minister Siddaramaiah  on Thursday dubbed BJP-led NDA government at the Centre as "90% commission sarkar," hitting back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had termed the state government as 10% commission sarkar.

Participating in a discussion in the legislative assembly on a motion of thanks to the Governor for his address to joint Houses of Legislature, the Chief Minister also accused the previous BJP governments in the state as being most corrupt.

Siddaramaiah further said the BJP and its leaders have failed to prove their charges against his government. As per the law, those who level charges should prove them, he added.

"It is a hit-and-run case. The BJP leaders have so far not proved the corruption charges against my government," he stated.

The Chief Minister's remarks triggered a heated argument between the BJP and the Congress members in the House.

Leader of the Opposition Jagadish Shettar accused the state government of being number one in corruption.
