BJP workers staged a flash protest against Nazarbad police for allegedly assaulting party workers on Sunday.
BJP workers said the police allegedly assaulted and arrested BJP city unit Yuva Morcha president Goklu Govardhan and others when the workers visited the station to lodge a complaint in connection with some illegal activities within the premises of a school in Ittigegoodu. However, the police claim that they did not assault the workers. MP Pratap Simha, leaders H V Rajeev and others visited the station.
