The Dakshina Kannada BJP unit has set two-day deadline for action against the admin and members of a Facebook page ‘Mangalore Muslims,’ where derogatory remarks were posted against late Union Minister Ananth Kumar, following his death.
Dakshina Kannada BJP unit president and Puttur MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor said on Wednesday, “Mangaluru South (Pandeshwar) police have filed a suo motu case. The BJP too has submitted a complaint to the City Police Commissioner.”
He said, “The case should not be restricted to complaint alone. The police should arrest the culprits within two days. If the police fail to act, BJP will intensify its protest.”
