The booklets carry brief notes on writers’ contribution to literary field and their involvement in struggles for safeguarding Kannada language and boundary of the state.
Parishat president Nallur Prasad, on Tuesday, said the government had released Rs 1 crore towards revision of dictionary published by the parishat. The Parishat would also appeal to the government for another Rs 1 crore to set up a research centre.
Prasad said the 76th Kannada Sahitya Sammelan will be held in Gadag.
