Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday said that B S Yeddyurappa would never become chief minister and he was indulging in daydreaming.
"Yeddyurappa was sent to the jail when he was the chief minister. He has renewed his friendship with Reddy brothers. People in the state won't tolerate such acts," Siddaramaiah said.
He is claiming that he would send me to the jail within 24 hours after coming to the power. Let him approach the ACB or Lokayukta or court if he has evidence against him," the CM challenged Yeddyurappa.
"Siddaramaiah came down heavily upon Yeddyurappa and said: "Though he is a senior politician, he is frequently using unparliamentary terms. I too can speak like him, but I don't want to stoop to his level. Statements of Yeddyurappa and Amit Shah are meaningless."
Siddaramaiah said that Shah and JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy met in Delhi airport and travelled by the same flight.
"There is evidence for this. The JD (S) is BJP's B team and the two parties have no concern for the development of the state."
The chief minister claimed that there was widespread support for the Congress.
Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, Fairoz Saith and C M Ibrahim were present.
