This budget is replete with fraudulent statistics, with no public concern. Siddaramaiah indulged in politics even while presenting the budget when he compared it with the previous government's budget. We were hopeful that Siddaramaiah will waive crop loans up to Rs 1 lakh from nationalised banks, like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has done.

No new schemes have been announced in this budget. Siddaramaiah has only detailed and recounted his past promises and assurances. There is no need to discuss the budget. This is just a vote-on-account budget.
