The protest has been planned to draw attention of the authorities concerned towards pathetic condition of NH-17 and precarious state of Nethravati Bridge.
Padayatra
The protestors will organise a padayatra from Nanthoor to Talapady and hold a public meet at 9 am at Nanthoor and at 12.30 pm at Thokottu Junction, said a press release from the Associations.
The press release clarified that essential commodity vehicles and emergency service vehicles will be allowed to pass.
