Shikaripur (Shivamogga district): BJP state president B Y Vijayendra demanded the government to take the suicide case of BJP worker from Kodagu Vinay Somaiah seriously and conduct a transparent investigation. Speaking to reporters in the town on Friday, he said that Vinay Somaiah was not so weak to end his life.
“There is a possibility of him taking the extreme step due to political pressure. So, the government should conduct a thorough investigation and provide justice to the bereaved family,” Vijayendra said. He also charged that FIRs are being registered against BJP workers without any reason after Congress came to power in the state. “This is not right. Such mistakes should not be repeated again.”
