Regretting over children getting addicted to online games and losing their lives, ZP President Chaitra Shirur has called upon the parents and teachers to protect children from becoming victims of Blue Whale game.
She noted this while speaking after inaugurating the district-level athletes sports meet organised by the Education Department for primary and high school students at R N shetty stadium in Dharwad on Friday.
As parents and teachers are not showing their concern towards children and not monitoring their day-to-day activities, children are becoming soft targets for several harmful online games and are ending up their precious lives. ‘This is an alarm for society to prevent students from taking up any extreme step and putting their parents in distress, she said.
