Puttur Town Police have booked a case against a Bajrang Dal leader for attempting to disrupt the birthday party of college students in a hotel in Puttur on Tuesday.
The accused is Bajrang Dal district co-convener Sridhar Tenkila. Students of Vivekananda Law College were celebrating a friend's birthday in a hotel at Boluvaru. On learning about the celebration, Tenkila visited the hotel and enquired with the students. Police rushed to the spot and took Tenkila into custody. A case has been registered.
