The State government is likely to order either a CBI or CID probe into the alleged corruption in the recruitment of gazette probationers in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has already announced in the Legislative Council that an inquiry will be ordered into the scam.

He had said the probe will be conducted by an independent agency. But, so far, the government has not decided on the agency.

The chief minister recently got a report on the alleged corruption in the recruitment from Advocate General Ravivarma Kumar.
