New Delhi: Discussions with party leaders in New Delhi revolved around making appointments to various boards and corporations, and did not involve talks on a change of leadership in the state, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah told journalists in the National Capital.
Siddaramaiah, along with Deputy CM D K Shivakumar, held an hour-long discussion with AICC general secretary in-charge of Karnataka Randeep Surjewala on Thursday night, before meeting AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.
“In these meetings, we only discussed appointments to boards and corporation and issues concerning party organisation. Another round of meeting to be held at Bengaluru on July 16 and Surjewala will be present at that meeting,” said the CM, before he left for Bengaluru.
