Under prohibitory orders following the killing of a head constable in a group clash on Sunday, the town has now returned to normality.
Security, however, continues to be tight at Agrahara, NNT Road and other areas. People went about their business as usual. Schools, colleges and government offices were open. Government and private buses were back on roads.
Communist Party (Marxist) State Unit Secretary G V Srirama Reddy visited troublesome areas and instilled confidence among local residents.
