Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday reviewed the progress of Upper Bhadra, Singatalur, Koppal, Purigali, Savanur and Nandavadagi lift irrigation projects.
According to officials, about 4,87,158 hectares of land will be irrigated once these projects are completed.
The chief minister directed the officials present to ensure increased cultivation in each acre, by implementing drip irrigation technology.
