Aggrieved people from all over Karnataka have gathered in front of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's official residence Krishna, for the 'Janata Darshan'. They have been waiting for over two hours to air their grievances before the CM.
However, Kumaraswamy is yet to give them the opportunity to see him.
Among those who have gathered are cancer patients, physically challenged, widows, and senior citizens. Many have come to submit complaints, while others seeking transfers. Few others have come to congratulate him on becoming CM.
During the first round of the Janata Darshan, government officers screen applications and ask the applicants to approach relevant departments.
For those who remained, tea, coffee and buttermilk is being served. But the main event, where the chief minister meets public, is yet to begin.
Last week, the Chief Minister Office (CMO), in a statement, announced that the chief minister would meet public in his official residence from morning 10 to 11, when he is in Bengaluru.
