Terming the Congress -JD(S) coalition government in the state as 'Majboor' government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon the people to not make a similar mistake in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Instead, he asked the people to give him a clear majority as the nation will have to pay a heavy price if a “Mahamilavat Sarkar” is voted to power, he said.

Modi said he was making honest efforts to root out corruption, poverty and terrorism, while the Opposition parties were coming together to remove him.

"To accomplish their interests, they don’t want a Mazboot (strong) government, but a Mazboor (helpless) government at the Centre. However, the man who has the blessings of 125 crore people (Modi) need not fear anybody - Pakistan, thieves or the dishonest," he thundered.

Without referring to the air strikes by the Indian Air Force on terror camps in Pakistan, the PM said the world is experiencing a new kind of courage in India, not Modi’s, but that of 125 crore people of the country, the prime minister said.

Explaining the measures initiated by him for curbing the looting of money which was in practice under the Congress rule and various projects launched by the government, he said middlemen were miffed at him because of this.

Modi launched the new Income Tax Appellate Tribunal building, a Bharat Petroleum Corporation depot, an ESIC medical college and PG centre and hostel for girl students from Northeast, all in Bengaluru, through video conferencing.
