Madikeri: Codava National Council (CNC) President N U Nachappa has written to the National Commission for Women demanding action against Mandya constituency MLA P Ravikumar for criticising actor Rashmika Mandanna.
In the letter, Nachappa accused Ravikumar of targeting Rashmika Mandanna, who is a Kodava, and attempting to create fear and unrest among people. He urged the commission to register a suo motu complaint against the MLA and take appropriate action.
Nachappa had recently written to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the State Home Minister G Parameshwara, requesting adequate protection for the actor, as per a press release.
