Bengaluru: All three sessions of the 2025 COMEDK Entrance Test registered close to 90% attendance across centres in Karnataka. While the test was postponed at 13 centres in view of the Indo-Pak conflict, the examination went off smoothly at the remaining 166 cities across the country.
In Karnataka, first session registered 89.17%, and as much as 89.59% of the registered students appeared for second session. The third session saw attendance of 90.42%. The countrywide attendance recorded for the three sessions was 86.22%, 86.31% and 79.52% respectively.
Overall, the test was conducted at 235 exam centres across India, with Karnataka accounting for 70. However, the third session of the test was postponed at 11 centres.
Of the 1,25,607 students who were eligible to write the exam, 1,08,668 appeared for the test. While 42,363 students had registered for the exam in Karnataka, 1,08,668 appeared for the test. A total 18,997 out of the 21,230 registered students in Bengaluru wrote the exam on Saturday.
Power outage at an examination centre in Bengaluru prompted the invigilators to provide additional time to the students to complete the test.
