Mysuru: BJP MLC A H Vishwanath on Saturday accused Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of intentionally creating confusion in the Bengaluru Palace TDR issue.

Speaking to media persons in Mysuru on Saturday, he said, "Whenever Siddaramaiah comes to power, he creates confusion and mistrust among people regarding the erstwhile royal family."

He said, "The Karnataka government's decision to issue an Ordinance on bypassing the TDR for the Bengaluru Palace land to widen the Ballari Road is not right. There is a court order in this regard. Is there no respect for the court's verdict? A settlement can be made by holding a discussion with the members of the Yadu dynasty."

He said, "Siddaramaiah often irritates and harasses the erstwhile royal family, the Wadiyars. He tried to rename the Princess Road after himself. His claims to be a democrat are hollow."

He alleged, “The Lokayukta investigation into the MUDA plot allocation is also not transparent. There has been a scam of more than Rs 5,000 crore. If the rumours of giving a clean chit to Siddaramaiah are true, it is criminal. Since the government appoints the Lokayukta officials, they may act as its puppets."

"MLA G T Devegowda also seems to be involved in the MUDA scam. Thus, he is trying to appease Siddaramaiah in order to be safe. Even if he leaves the JD(S), it won't be a loss," he added.
