Bengaluru: State BJP president B Y Vijayendra (BYV) on Tuesday alleged that the state Congress government has set up corruption counters in every department.
Áddressing a news conference, Vijayendra claimed that no work in the government is happening without a bribe.
"The commission mafia is active through agents. It has spread across the state from the secretariat to the Gram Panchayat level," the state BJP president charged.
Criticising Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for being quiet despite the corruption allegations from his party colleagues, Vijayendra alleged, "Siddaramaiah is acting blind just to retain the chief minister's position." He said the chief minister is looting the state.
"The chief minister has lost his control over the administration of the state. He has not sought the minister's (Housing Minister B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan) resignation even after senior Congress legislator B R Patil levelled corruption allegations against him," he said.
