‘Congress govt under Siddaramaiah stable, safe’

Gadag: Reaffirming that the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in Karnataka was both stable and secure, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs H K Patil on Sunday sought to dispel rumours around ministers hosting dinner parties.

“There’s no problem if these dinners are arranged, and there’s no trouble if they are cancelled,” Patil told reporters in Gadag.

Patil also expressed disappointment with remarks of opposition leaders questioning the surrender and rehabilitation of Naxals in the state. Calling on those leaders to set aside their political differences and congratulate the CM, Patil added, “The Naxals surrendered because they had faith in Siddaramaiah. It’s important to rehabilitate Naxals to bring about a transformation in society.”
