Bengaluru: Congress’ communications chief Ramesh Babu said on Friday that he had lodged a plaint against a person Tejas Gowda for levelling false allegations in a petition addressed to Governor.
“He cited cases that have been closed to malign me,” Babu, an ex-MLC, stated. “Some persons are resorting to slander after I raised questions on past incidents of stampedes,” he added. The petition was submitted at a time when Babu’s name was doing rounds for nomination as MLC.
