The clubs will be developed on the model of eco club, said Food and Civil Supplies Deputy Director Basavaraju. Consumer clubs will be started in all the recognised primary and high schools. One club should have a minimum of 50 members. The government will provide a financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to every club. The nodal agency should convene a meeting of club every month.
