Tiptur, Tumakuru district: Copra prices jumped over Rs 1,000 per quintal to an all-time high of Rs 20,900 at the Tiptur APMC market on Monday.
High quality copra was sold at Rs 20,900 per quintal while the standard produce fetched Rs 20,500.
On March 24, copra prices had reached Rs 19,000 equalling the all-time high recorded in 2014-15.
The prices were hovering around Rs 19,000 in the last two months.
