Vatal Nagaraj filed the nomination from Mysore seat. Another former MLA Sunitha Veerappa Gowda too filed the nomination from the constituency as the JD(S) candidate.
Two other who filed the nominations are M Narendra from Chickmagalur and A P Veeresh from Shimoga.
