Counters at temples to collect relief material

The Muzrai department has said temples can open separate counters to collect donations and contributions from devotees for the CM’s Relief Fund to help flood-hit Kodagu and parts of coastal Karnataka.

According to a government order, the Muzrai department has directed 81 select temples coming under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act in the state to contribute a total of Rs 12.3 crore for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
