Gun and cartridges found in a forest area near Sringeri
Chikkamagaluru: One country gun and 10 empty cartridges were found in the forest area Hulagarubailu of Sringeri taluk.
Following intimation by the locals, police have seized the items.
It could be recalled that five Naxals had surrendered before Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru last month.
A few days ago, Naxalite Kotehonda Ravindra too had surrendered before Chikkamagaluru district administration without arms.
A case has been registered in Sringeri police station.
