The complainant, advocate Sirajin Basha had stated that the land, notified by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) in 1987 for the formation of BTM 6th stage layout, was illegally denotified in 2010 by the chief minister, following a representation by one of the accused, Satyakumari, who claimed that she had not received any compensation from the BDA for the acquisition and she had no other means of livelihood.

The complainant claimed that the beneficiaries obtained the lands as benamidars (proxies) for the chief minister’s family. The complaint names 15 persons as accused including the chief minister. The matter has been posted to March 30.
