Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Covid positive total this year has crossed 500 cases, with the addition of 87 positive cases as of Monday.

There are a total of 311 active cases of Covid in Karnataka and a cumulative of 529 cases recorded since January 1, said the Covid bulletin published by the state health department on Monday. At least 214 patients have recovered since the beginning of this year, according to department data.

Over the past 24 hours, a total of 504 Covid tests have been conducted, including 464 RT-PCR tests and 40 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT). The state's positivity rate in the past 24 hours stood at 17.2 per cent. No deaths were recorded on Monday.

Of 311 patients, 297 are isolating at home and the rest have been admitted to hospitals across the state. Hospitalisations include five patients in government hospitals and four in private hospital general beds. One patient each is on an isolation bed with oxygen support in government and private hospitals, while a total of three patients are in ICUs.
