Mysuru: Mysuru-based Cyberverse Foundation is hosting 'CyberShield Mysuru’, in association with Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), in Mysuru, on Saturday.
According to a press note from chairperson of Cyberverse Foundation Trishikha Kumari Wadiyar, CyberShield aims at fostering a robust cybersecurity ecosystem in Asian region.
Cyberverse Foundation is committed to securing India’s cyberspace through credible platforms for information sharing and capacity development, in collaboration with DSCI and NASSCOM.
CyberShield is being held on February 15, from 9 am to 5.30 pm at Radisson Blu Hotel, in Mysuru. Additional Secretary, Union Ministry of Electronics & IT, Abhishek Singh; Additional Secretary, Departtment of Electronics, IT, BT, and Science & Technology, Karnataka government, H V Darshan; MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar; and CEO of DSCI, NASSCOM, Vinayak Godse will participate.
Cyberverse Foundation is focusing on: ecosystem development by spreading awareness and fostering a sustainable cybersecurity landscape; capacity building by developing skilled human capital and cutting-edge technologies in alignment with Digital India; research and development by conducting pioneering cybersecurity research; and policy advocacy by strengthening the digital universe through informed policy interventions.
CyberShield Mysuru will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, academia, security researchers, and startup innovators to address key challenges and opportunities in cybersecurity.
