Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah with Dy CM D K Shivakumar

New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday occupied the exclusive CM’s suite accommodation at the new Karnataka Bhavan at upmarket Chanakyapuri here, setting tongues wagging in political circles.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had stayed for a day at the CM’s suite during his previous visit to the national capital, but shifted to the CM’s suite in the Karnataka Bhavan Annexe building, as he was reportedly not comfortable with the facility at the new Bhavan, citing ‘lack of ventilation’.
Sources said Shivakumar had requested Siddaramaiah to allow him to use the CM’s suite in the new Bhavan as it was laying vacant and the latter had agreed to it.
On Tuesday, the DCM met party leaders at the CM’s suite in the new Bhavan.
