Bengaluru: Bengaluru Cooperative Milk Union Ltd President and former MP D K Suresh on Wednesday played down Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s comment that “politics was not permanent,” claiming that further analysis on the issue was “unnecessary.”
“The chief minister has naturally spoken with someone. It need not be given much importance. Further analysis on the issue is unnecessary,” Suresh, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar’s brother, told reporters.
Speaking about AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal’s visit to Karnataka, Suresh noted that the Congress leader had come for an event in Mangaluru, and added that Venugopal would head to his home state Kerala, where local body elections are going on.
